Sant Feliu de Guixols is a coastal village that has been able to keep its character despite the influx of tourism in summer. Situated in the Baix Emporda region, it has an important port and cork industry. Sant Feliu de Guixols has several beautiful beaches, such as the one directly bordering the town centre, and the beach of Sant Pol, connecting with S´Agaró. It also includes many little bays and coves surrounded by pines and cork trees, with rocky or fine sand beaches. The surroundings offer lots of possibilities for leisure, such as sailing, kayaking, horse riding, or an adventurous canopy tour. We also recommend driving along the winding coastal road towards Tossa de Mar, from where you get the most fantastic scenery of the Mediterranean and cosy hidden bays.
